The outside temperature on my screen is not correct
If you just performed a 4" to 8" conversion and noticed that the temperature reading is off, you simply need to be patient. Some kits include replacement radio bezels that also house the climate control circuitry. The temperature sensing algorithm is adaptive and takes some time to calibrate. It may take several drive cycles to become accurate - this is normal and expected.
If you would like to speed up the process, you can use the following procedure to reset for the Ambient Air Temperature (AAT) sensor is as follows:
- On the HVAC panel controls, press the A/C and Recirc buttons simultaneously, then, release both.
- Within 2 seconds press the A/C button again.
